Ready-to-Wear

Our one-of-a-kind l‘atelier marla gowns come in a variety of sizes, styles, colors, fabrics and patterns. If you appreciate a classic silhouette in a bridal gown but you gravitate towards non-traditional fabrics and colors, and are intrigued by patterns that are feminine and vintage-inspired, then we think you will love our unique gowns. Couture

Our couture gowns are offered on a limited basis, as they are very time consumptive to create. Prices start at $3,000 depending on complexity and take anywhere from 3-8 months to complete depending, again, on complexity. Please click >here< to learn more about the couture process.

Made-to-measure

Do you love one of our l’atelier marla gowns, but it’s not available in your size? We can recreate a *made-to-measure gown for you that is nearly identical, similar, or similar, but with customizations. If you have a commercial pattern, we can also create a beautiful gown for you and customize it. Both options allow you to add your own design elements to your gown.

*Made-to-measure is not couture, which is an original pattern created specifically from 20-30 precise measurements, whereas made-to-measure starts with a basic pattern and considers only 4 measurements: height, bust, waist, and hips. Alterations for fit are likely needed once a made-to-measure gown is complete, as is often the case with wedding dresses ordered from commercial designers.

Alterations and customizations

Do you have a gown that belonged to your mother or grandmother that you absolutely love, but want to make your own? We can do that! We can alter and customize an existing gown and turn it into something truly unique and heartfelt.

We offer limited alterations services on our consignment gowns, however we do not alter our ready-to-wear l’atelier marla gowns nor any of our made-to-measure gowns. We spend many hours, days, or weeks creating these gowns, and the last thing we want to do is start deconstructing or cutting away at them. Most artists do not want to revisit their work, once it is complete.
