Appointments

We look forward to meeting and getting to know our brides! At Femelle Bridal, we encourage female spaces and gatherings by offering private appointments with two of your favorite females, ages 14 years and older.

Things To Know Prior to Your Appointment:

Because we offer off-the-rack consignment (ie., we don’t own them) and one-of-a-kind handmade (i.e., lengthy in time to create) gowns, we are diligent about keeping our gowns in great condition for all our brides to love and bring home that day. As such…

• We are, unfortunately, unable to offer refreshments during your appointment (However, there are a handful of great restaurants in the immediate area for you to visit before or after your appointment).
• We ask that you arrive not wearing make-up (Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of pre-wedding and wedding day photos ops looking your most beautiful!), spray tan, perfume or jagged jewelry that can easily stain or snag delicate fabrics. We offer make-up remover for your convenience.
• We ask that everyone attending your appointment wear provided white cotton gloves while browsing dresses (As a one-time visitor to a consignment bridal shop in Boston, visible soiling marks were present in the same location on nearly all of gowns, where the right hand would push the gowns to the side for a full view of the dress).
• Unless asked for assistance, please allow staff to handle all garments.
• During the hot, sweaty, sticky summer months, we offer brides body wipes, if needed.

Your private appointment fee is $25 for a 75 minute appointment, which includes properly taking your measurements. Second try-on appointments are $10 for a 30 minute appointment. Fees can be applied to any garment purchase made within 365 days of initial appointment, but are not transferable.

Please keep in mind, we are a small local business. We understand you may not find your dream gown with us, and that is okay! However, if you have no intention of potentially buying and are simply scheduling to play dress up, to obtain sizing or to try on similar styles to make an online purchase, please refrain from scheduling with us. We appreciate your understanding and support of our small, local business.

Our bridal salon is located on the second floor of a building that does not offer elevator access. We are happy to accommodate those who are physically challenged to ascend a staircase, by offering home visit appointment options.
